Drug/Alcohol Assessments
The Abacus Program is licensed by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Alcoholism & Substance Abuse to complete Drug/Alcohol Assessments for the courts in relation to DUI evaluations, as well as other court related Drug/Alcohol legal problems. Secretary of State Evaluations and Updated Evaluations are also available.
Assessments are completed, by appointment only, daytime
and certain evenings, as well as Saturday afternoons. Our Court Evaluations are accepted by all counties except Cook, DuPage, and
Lake who complete their own evaluations, in-house. Secretary of
State and Update Evaluations are accepted in all counties.

Risk Education
The Abacus Program offers Risk Education on Saturday mornings, which is a four week, pay-as-you-go program. The format follows the
requirements of the Illinois Division of Alcoholism & Substance Abuse. Abacus is authorized to perform Risk Education by all of it's surrounding
courts of venue, Secretary of State, as well as out of state. The program design is open, so students may begin almost immediately. All
instructors are licensed and trained in Risk Education Classes.

Treatment
The Abacus Program is licensed by the Division of Alcoholism & Substance Abuse to complete outpatient Alcohol/Drug Treatment. Treatment is accepted by the surrounding courts of venue, Secretary of State, as well as out of state. Treatment satisfies the requirements for Level-II Moderate, Level-II Significant, and Level-III classifications. Treatment groups are offered four times weekly, two evenings and two afternoons a week. Individual counseling sessions are also available by appointment.
